Offline activation

For organizations running BentoPDF on computers with no internet connection. You do this on any online computer; the offline machines never need a network.

On the offline computer: open BentoPDF, go to SettingsLicenseActivate offline (air-gapped)Export activation request. Copy the saved file here on a USB stick. It contains only a device ID, nothing private.
On this page: add those files below, enter your organization key, and download the license files.
Back on the offline computer: SettingsLicenseActivate offlineImport license file. Done. The license works forever and each file only works on its own machine.

Activation request files Organization key From your purchase email. It is sent only to our license server over an encrypted connection and is not stored in the browser.

Prefer the terminal?

Download issue-bundle.mjs (needs Node.js 18 or later) and run:

node issue-bundle.mjs bentopdf-activation-LAB-PC-01.json --org-key key/XXXX

It writes the license file next to the request file. Useful for scripting many machines at once.
